|
|
Hi there, i use my DataScan for a live feed data display on my 300zx car pc... the software i use on this allows me to open up DataScan within itself so it can manage things like sat nav, music, datascan etc on switchable pages.
My query is, the software used to run DataScan can only embed 1 page at a time. To get, for example, the 'Data Display' page up i have to launch the .exe file (which will open on top of my software) then click the datadisplay button (which then embeds itself into the software). However, the trouble is the first screen then stays on top and with the screen only being 8" i have to drag it to be able to click behind it in order to hide it.
Is there any way i can make an exe file that will automatically open the data display page? Alternatively, is there any way that the datadisplay can be open within the same window as the main window?
Hope this makes sense!
Thankyou for your time,
Regards,
Joel. |

Yes, it makes perfect sense.
I will talk to Tom about this. There is a new version of datascan being developed specifically for car PCs. It was designed to replace normal gauges, and it will solve your problems. However we cant tell you when ti will be released, and it wont solve your problem now.
I will get back to you shortly.

Yeah, the effort for this fix went into developing NDS Dash, which is just about ready to release. I will keep you posted.
